Rosemont Summit Kitchen & Great Room Remodel

Color and Texture unite

Keith and Debi bought this home brand new in 1987 and took exceptionally good care of it.  Being that the kitchen and family room are the most used spaces for not only family but friends, they finally decided to remodel it to a modern more functional space that they will enjoy for years and years to come.

Rich, walnut cabinets with Caesarstone counter tops and glass mosaic tile gives timeless touches to this now modern space with ample storage.  Note the mirror inserts with the pendant lights hanging in front.  I designed that to add an unexpected detail that also double both the light and the view of the beautiful back yard.  Improved lighting, the recreation of a bigger island and a furniture like pantry contribute to the overall style and function of this new, gorgeous kitchen. This remodel was done while I was Principal Designer and Co-Owner of my previous company.

Everything was pretty worn out and needed to be replaced. Arlene was able to listen to our wants and wishes and make our dreams come true. We asked for a cohesive design for the entire house built in 1987, contemporary, clean lines, neutral pallet while mixing in some heirloom antiques. We got everything we asked for and more. All my friends have closet envy, the kitchen is to die for and we absolutely love the master suite. Arlene was a life saver—we couldn’t have done it without her!
