Raleigh Hills Whole House Remodel

Modernizing Spaces

Lord Design, along with Erik Ostmo of Ostmo Construction, took this 1970’s split level home down to the studs from end to end and recreated a space that feels light, bright and serene. We chose a modern backdrop with subtle colors and clean lines to juxtapose the client’s traditional furniture. The open concept kitchen and family room suits this modern family and elegantly handles large parties. The master bedroom and bathroom are smaller in scale but we made up for the size with elegant finishes and beautiful lighting. The guest bathroom received some special treatment with a gorgeous wood mirror and the addition of a much needed skylight that infuses the space with light. The house provided the gracious bones, the client provided the creative opportunity and we all came together to bring this lovely new space to life.

Arlene is a true professional, works well with our contractor and vendors and—most importantly—listens to us! This remodel was huge. Arlene has remained positive every step of the way and actually, dare I say, has made this process fun.
